A University Canada West senior executive recently made the shortlist for the 2024 Global Women in Marketing Awards.

Midya U, Vice President, Marketing and Communications, has been named one of the uppermost candidates for the Best Leader in Marketing award.

The award recognizes marketing and communications leaders who have demonstrated exemplary communications leadership.

Mrs. U joined UCW in May 2020. Since then, she has led the rebranding of the University and marketing of UCW both internationally and domestically through various marketing initiatives including, university rebranding, an award-winning video ad, creation of UCW’s first mascot and creating community partnerships with local sports teams.

The award winners will be announced at the 14th Annual Global WiM Awards celebration on November 20 in London.
