The Government of Canada has released information on the Post-Graduation Work Permit (PGWP) program in relation to the ongoing situation with COVID-19.
The Government has decided that students will still be eligible for this program even if their in-class courses have been moved to an online-only format due to Coronavirus.
Additionally, if students have been approved for a study permit for programs starting in May or June but are unable to travel Canada due to travel restrictions, they will still be able eligible for the program.
If students find themselves unable to start their classes in Canada and have to study using online classes, they will be able to complete up to 50% of their program online if they are unable to travel to the country sooner.
To ensure students still have the opportunity to study the qualification they want to, all of UCW’s programs can now be taken online. These include:
- Bachelor of Commerce
- Online Bachelor of Arts in Business Communication
- Online MBA
- Online MBA Foundation
- University Access Program
UCW is committed to providing support to all students and partners during these unprecedented times and will continue to review the situation.
