Brian Amouzegar has a lifelong passion for education, and teaches graduate and undergraduate courses. He is an adjunct faculty member with University Canada West, British Columbia Institute of Technology, New York Institute of Technology, and the Acsenda School of Management. He is also the founder and president of Plantek Productivity Consulting Inc.
As a capacity building catalyst, he provides world-class consulting and training within the industrial engineering discipline, with particular focus on operational efficiencies, project management and total quality programs. Brian’s international experience spans over North America, Asia, Europe, and the Middle East. He cherishes cultural diversity, and as a result he spearheaded the founding of the Society of Internationally Trained Engineers of BC (SITE BC) and led that organization for three years.
Brian holds a bachelor degree in industrial accounting, a master's degree in industrial engineering, and is currently pursuing a PhD in management, concentrating on engineering management. He is a senior member of the American Society for Quality, an ASQ certified Quality Engineer (CQE), Six-Sigma Black Belt (SSBB) and a Project Management Professional (PMP) in good standing.
