Dr. Oleg Naumenko teaches Leadership for MBA students at University Canada West. He holds a PhD in Economics and a Master’s degree in Mathematics from Lomonosov Moscow State University, the highest ranked university in Russia. His research focused on developing successful crisis management strategies, with emphasis on behavioral aspects of decision-making.
Dr. Naumenko has been teaching courses on project management, risk management and economic analysis. He also delivered a series of lectures on market reforms and opportunities for doing business in Russia at several American universities.
As a firm believer that theoretical knowledge should be supported by hands-on industry experience, Dr. Naumenko spent 10 years on a position of a program manager in a competitive environment of management consulting. He had been in charge of multiple large-scale consulting projects both for governmental and corporate clients. Among his signature projects - development and implementation of the comprehensive long-term socioeconomic development plan for a metropolis with a population above one million people.
Having travelled to more than 20 countries all over the world, Dr. Naumenko finds inspiration in learning and absorbing diverse cultural patterns. Eager to share his experience and expertise, he has provided personal mentorship for many of his students and interns, helping them scale new heights. His teaching philosophy is based on personal accountability, thinking out-of-the-box and a close link between theory and practice.
