The Senate determines the membership, the method of appointment or election of members, and the Terms of Reference for all standing Committees. Members of the Senate usually sit on at least two Committees of the Senate.

Standing Committees only make recommendations to the Senate; please refer to the Senate Minutes for decisions on recommendations.
