OnTheGo Magazine, Toronto’s most read commuter magazine recently had a brief Q&A with University Canada West’s President, Dr. Arthur Coren about the University’s scholarships, programming and future.

This is what Dr. Arthur Coren said for one of the questions:

Q: Is a private university education as good as a degree from a public university?

A: Well, I guess you could point to the fact that the Ivy League schools are all private! Every member of our leadership team has a deep background in the public post-secondary system. Our faculty have both academic and business experience and you’ll find many of them also teaching at local public universities. All of our programs have been extensively reviewed and are authorized by the Minister of Advanced Education. And we have over 500 articulated course transfers into the public system. We’re confident that our students receive an outstanding education.
