The excitement is building for University Canada West’s Fall 2024 Convocation October 28 to 30.

Over the course of three days, almost 4,000 graduates will receive their degrees and toss their caps in the air at the Queen Elizabeth Theatre in Vancouver.

Families and friends will come together to witness graduates receive their degrees over eight ceremonies.

Community advocate Francisco Javier Barajas will be receiving an Honorary Doctorate from University Canada West. Mr. Barajas has been a staunch advocate for both the Mexico-Latino community and the LGBTQ2+ Latino community in Canada and the United States.

For those unable to attend in person, all eight ceremonies will be streamed live on UCW’s official Facebook page and YouTube channel, allowing friends and families from around the globe to join in the celebration and cheer on the graduates.
