Degrees from University Canada West are eligible to be recognized in China.

Upon completion of one of University Canada West’s (UCW) degree programs, a graduate may submit transcripts with the required forms and documentation to either the China Service Center for Scholarly Exchange (CSCSE) or the Education Section of the Consulate-General of the People’s Republic of China in Vancouver.

After review and approval, the appropriate documentation recognizing a UCW degree will be issued.

University Canada West degrees are offered under the written consent of the British Columbia Minister of Advanced Education and have undergone a quality assessment process established by the minister.

In 2006, the Governments of the People’s Republic of China and the Province of British Columbia signed the Memorandum of Understanding on the Mutual Recognition of Post-Secondary Education.

UCW holds the Education Quality Assurance (EQA) designation, which is available to public and private institutions in B.C. that meet or exceed quality assurance standards set by the province.

Furthermore, UCW is recognized as a Designated Learning Institutions by the Department of Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada.
