The Spring Term is starting online for all students for the first two weeks. At that time, UCW will re-evaluate the situation to determine if online classes should be continued or if we reopen the campus to our students. UCW will follow the recommendations of the government and provincial health authority in this matter.
What if the situation is not clarified by the time students want to start their studies?
UCW has developed options for new students.
- They will be able to defer to a future term OR
- They could start their studies online to start preparing themselves for joining the program on campus.
UCW is committed to offer the best student experience possible and will provide all the necessary support to ensure that students will be able to seamlessly transition to in-class learning.
How will UCW support students remotely before starting their studies in Vancouver?
UCW will support students through online sessions and regular communication with UCW faculty and staff through the MyUCW Student Portal. The university also offers student support through email so they can get all the assistance they need to be successful in their studies.
UCW Student Services team will be their point of contact at the university. They will be able to reach out and ask questions at any time.
